Itoman Beach

Itoman Beach is located in Itoman City near the southern tip of Okinawa's main island. Itoman has long flourished as a fishing town, and even today it retains the atmosphere of a port town with many fishing boats passing by.\n\nThe shallow beach with gentle waves is suitable for snorkeling, and a variety of tropical fish can be observed in the crystal clear waters. Although the beach is located in the southern part of the island near Naha, there are relatively few tourists, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean.\n\nHimeyuri Tower, a historic site of the Battle of Okinawa, and Peace Memorial Park are also nearby, making it possible to combine swimming with an itinerary that touches on Okinawa's history. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Naha City.
