AR commentary provides visitors with an in-depth understanding of the exhibits through audio commentary by "Ui Nema," an Okinawan virtual celebrity. The museum also provides tools to support historical tourism in Yomitan Village, such as the "Space-Time Map" and the "Yuntan Navi" application, allowing visitors to explore the village by theme (history, nature, and culture) using their smartphones.
The museum has a free parking lot, and elementary and junior high school students in the village can use the permanent exhibition free of charge, making it a community-based facility.
