What is the 3rd Okinawa Karate World Championships?

The 3rd Okinawa Karate World Championships is an international karate festival held every four years from Okinawa, the birthplace of karate, to the world. 2026 will be held for four days from July 30 (Thursday) to August 2 (Sunday), 2026 at the Okinawa Convention Center as the main venue.

Competition Structure

Competitions (July 30-August 1)

• Open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14
• Entry fee 3,000 yen per division (including accident insurance)
• Kata and Kumite Competitions

Demonstration Tournament (August 2)

• Open to qualified fighters 15 years old and up.
• Demonstrations by each style of Okinawa Traditional Karate
• Held from 13:00 to 15:30
