Tropical Festival to be held at Watermark Hotel Okinawa Kume Island, Kume Island, July 3 & 4, 2026. Hula & Tahitian, Kachaasi, and Eisa are fused together in a chanpuru of Kume Island and Hawaiian culture. Food booths will also be open, and this popular event allows visitors to enjoy a tropical atmosphere on the island at sunset.
Kumejima Hawaiian Festival 2026 is a two-day festival that blends Hawaiian and Okinawan cultures at the Watermark Hotel Okinawa Kume Island. In addition to hula and Tahitian dance performances on stage, Okinawan Kachashii and Eisa dances will be performed, providing a tropical festival that is literally "champuru" (mixed together).
The outdoor space of Watermark Hotel Okinawa Kume Island will be the venue, and food booths will be set up so that you can enjoy the stage and taste island gourmet food.
It takes about 30 minutes from Naha Airport by plane or about 4 hours by ferry from Tomari Port to Kume Island. Transportation or cab service is convenient from the airport or port to your hotel.
