History of Cape Busena

An international marine resort area that includes Bankoku Shinryokan, the main venue for the "Kyushu-Okinawa Summit" held in 2000. Since the summit, it has developed into one of Okinawa's leading resort areas.

Swimming at the beach

During the swimming season from April to October, lifesavers are on duty to ensure safety. Swimming is also possible during the winter, but lifeguards are not on duty.

Marine Activities

Banana boats, jet skis, SUP, snorkeling, diving, Seawalker, etc. are available.

Underwater Observation Tower and Glass Boat

At Busena Underwater Park, which departs from the pier on the right side of the beach, you can experience the Underwater Observation Tower, which offers a 360-degree view of the ocean, and glass boats, which allow you to look into the ocean floor. This is a valuable spot on the main island of Okinawa where you can easily observe coral reef fish.
