Emerald Beach is an artificial beach located in the National Ocean Expo Park in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture. It is a famous beach with beautiful, clear emerald-green waters, and was selected as one of the "100 Best Bathing Beaches" by the Ministry of the Environment.\n\nThe beach with gentle waves and white sand is divided into three zones to accommodate a wide range of visitors from families to youth groups. Lifeguards are always on duty and safety is well managed, so you can enjoy swimming in peace.\n\nThe standard course is to visit in combination with the adjacent Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which includes the aquarium, botanical garden, and Tropical Dream Center, making a full day of fun. It takes about 2 hours by car from Naha.
