Maehama Beach on Mizuna Island, a remote croissant-shaped island off the coast of Watakuchi Port in Motobu Town. The shallow, emerald green sea with coral reefs is a popular remote island beach for snorkeling and swimming. It takes about 15 minutes from Watakuchi Port by high-speed boat.

What is Mizuna Beach?

Mizuna Island, nicknamed "Croissant Island," is located off the coast of Watakuchi Port on the Motobu Peninsula. The white sand beach at the entrance to the island is Mizuna Beach. It is a small island with a circumference of about 4 km, but the spectacular view of the emerald green sea and coral reefs offers a special experience that cannot be had on the main island.

Access

It takes about 15 minutes from Watakuchi Port in Motobu Town by high-speed boat "New Wing Minna". There is a free parking lot (about 100 cars) at Watakuchi Port. It is conveniently located about 2 hours drive from Naha Airport and about 10 minutes drive from Churaumi Aquarium.
