This is an independent performance of Kumiodori, a traditional Okinawan performing art registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The story is about a filial daughter who sacrifices herself to save her mother under the theme of "filial piety. This comprehensive art form of the Ryukyus, combining song, sanshin, dance, and dialogue, can be enjoyed at the National Theatre Okinawa's Grand Theatre.
Kumiodori is a comprehensive art form of the Ryukyu Dynasty created by Asaoru Tamaki in the early 18th century to entertain Chinese envoys to Japan, combining song, sanshin, dance, and dialogue.

Ryukyuan dance will be performed in the first part.
